Something New

As the rain moved out early afternoon, Clint and I anticipated the deer movement might be good this evening. We headed for a harvested corn field on a farm that produces quality deer numbers. We climbed in the stand and before we had our gear ready, deer had moved into the field. After some time of watching deer feed, I tried a new ‘deer call’ that may show up on the market real soon!

Aim Low Productions Announces New Partnership with Loc-On Treestands.

LLC Aim Low Productions, LLC is excited to announce their newest partner as Loc-On Treestands, LLC. Videoing our hunts means there are always two stands in every tree we hunt. A hang on stand that is quiet and comfortable is a must for keeping us in the woods to successfully capture the kill on video. There is a reason most hang on stands are referred to as “Locons”…

Loc-On Treestands…”The Oldest Name in Treestands”… is back and now the official treestand of the Aim Low Productions Team. Made in the USA, Loc-On manufactures quality hang on stands that are quiet, comfortable, and easy to hang.

1st Blood

By Cory:

Our year in NW MO is off to a hot start, just the second time on stand this year and one deer down! This gal came in and offered a 8 yard shot, pretty hard to pass up, so I let a Phathead S.O.B. fly. She only made it about 50 yards before crashing. Thanks to Charlie Ramsbottom for running the camera on this great early season hunt.

Bearing Down on Grouse

By Tammie:

Our son, Devin, drew a Minnesota bear license and was excited to head to northern Minnesota for a chance at a big bruin they had trail camera pictures of from last year.  We arrived with high hopes as the baits were being “hit”.  The weather took a turn for the worst as it continued to rain and many of the baits were not able to be accessed because of the high river levels.  We never saw any bear but got to spend the week with good friends and were able to shoot some ruffed and spruce grouse.
