Aim Low Productions, LLC Announces Their Newest Sponsor, Smooth Stability

SS Stabilizers on the Aim Low Team’s bows will help all of our shots to be “Smooth…Steady…DEADLY”

Smooth Stability manufactures stabilizers for both hunting and target archery. Their stabilizers provide more than just a quiet shot. Their design utilizes rotational physics concepts in a stabilizer to also add true stabilization – which means a more steady pin.

Corey Goes Big For His First Bear!

As told to us by Corey:

My good friends Chad Cox & Rex Hall traveled to Manitoba Canada with me in pursuit of black bear. Out of the 3 of us we had seen a combined total of 0 bears in the wild, so we didn’t know what to expect. Day 1 in my stand I saw 7 bears, including one trying to climb into the tree with me! Thank goodness a sow was at

Bowhunting FL Hogs

Keith and I made the trip to FL once again to bowhunt hogs with staffers Chet Maxcy and Charlie Peck.  This hog hunt is one of my favorite hunts of the entire year and this trip reminded my of why.  Within the first hour of the hunt I had a miss out of the way and connected on a nice hog.  By the time the dust cleared behind us as we headed for the Orlando…

Keith’s MO Gobbler

I finally got the chance to get out and do some turkey hunting. After hearing the stories and seeing the pictures from Robin and Eric’s trip, I couldn’t take it much longer.

Nick Govero was gracious enough to take me to his lease in mid Missouri where we have had success in the past. After sitting for 3 1/2 hours and not hearing or seeing a single bird, we decided to switch locations to…

Eric and Robin hit NE for Turkeys

A five day trip turned into 2500 miles and only 3.5 days of actual hunting for spring turkeys in Nebraska with our Elite bows.  We started the week off in north central NE hoping to be far enough west and north to run into Merriam’s turkeys – the last species I need for my turkey grand slam by bow.  We secured permission on a nice looking piece of property and heard lots of birds the…

Robin comes back from FL with an Osceola

Staffers Chet Maxcy and Charlie Peck have been inviting me down to try for an Osceola turkey for a couple years now.  After my success last spring bowhunting for turkeys in MO and KS, I was ready this spring to take them up on it.  Winter has been hanging on here in MO, so the nice weather helped me make my mind up too!  Charlie worked to line up a few spots of private ground…

Chet’s turn for an Osceola

As told by Chet:  After Charlie’s opening morning success, we spent the rest of that weekend and the entire second weekend trying to position ourselves on another good Osceola Gobbler.  We couldn’t catch a break the first couple days of working a particular bird.  After two days of bad luck, and watching this bird strut and gobble for his group of hens, always just out of range, we finally felt like we had him figured…

Charlie Peck starts turkey season off right

As told by Chet Maxcy:  For the last year, Charlie Peck and I had been patterning birds at my hunting lease in Southern Highlands County Florida.  We built a ground blind that put us in position to intercept any birds on their way to or from the roost.  Opening morning found us setting up the decoys with a mature bird gobbling right where we hoped one would be.  20 minutes later the hunt was over, and…

Robin and Eric tripple up real quick!

Eric Gregory and I (Robin) hunted Northern MO for 6 straight days in early November.  Our hunt alternated from great to terrible seemingly every other day.  Many bucks were passed, including one that upon closer inspection of the video I regretted passing.  On our last morning before we both needed to get back to work, things changed in a hurry.  After shooting a doe that was just too close to pass up, a buck chased a…

Charlie Stays Hot!!!

By Keith:

Charlie seems to have the luck of the irish on his side this season.  After taking a mature Kansas bruiser he comes back home to Missouri to arrow yet another dandy! I feel really good knowing I will be at Charlies side in some upcoming hunts. This giant 10 pt. has a beautiful rack with impressive mass. I hope Charlie has a little more of that good fortune to share while he’s running…

Kansas Hog

By: Charlie Ramsbottom
A few of the Aim Low staff traveled to western Kansas to hunt with Seven Two Bar Adventures. The first few days of our hunt deer movement was slow and the wind was blowing hard. Thursday morning the wind settled and our expectations were high. I saw a small 8 pointer behind me at 80 yards, as I watched him a second deer appeared… This giant bodied 6 + year old closed

Something New

By: Charlie Ramsbottom
As the rain moved out early afternoon, Clint and I anticipated the deer movement might be good this evening. We headed for a harvested corn field on a farm that produces quality deer numbers. We climbed in the stand and before we had our gear ready, deer had moved into the field. After some time of watching deer feed, I tried a new ‘deer call’ that may show up on the market

1st Blood

By Cory:

Our year in NW MO is off to a hot start, just the second time on stand this year and one deer down! This gal came in and offered a 8 yard shot, pretty hard to pass up, so I let a Phathead S.O.B. fly. She only made it about 50 yards before crashing. Thanks to Charlie Ramsbottom for running the camera on this great early season hunt.
